Martyna was absolutely thrilled with the venue she had chosen when she came to Glitzed Events and couldn't contain her bubbling excitement. The Jedediah Hawkins Inn had set the perfect tone for her wedding, with its intimate atmosphere and lush greenery adorning the exterior. Despite Martyna and Jesse's strong preference for a more modern style, they were determined to harmonize their decor with the venue's natural beauty. This thoughtful design plan focused predominantly on balance, strategically interweaving modern elements into the backdrop of nature's verdant embrace. While the ceremony space design fell into place relatively quickly during the initial stages, the team found that the verdant backdrop needed more nuanced definition. However, when it came to the reception area, Martyna expressed her desire to steer clear of an abundance of green. This posed the question of how to maintain primarily white table decor while establishing equilibrium and a sense of continuity with the ceremony space. Embracing this challenge, the tables were adorned with exquisite white baby’s breath garlands, creating a full, opulent aesthetic, accompanied by bud vases boasting reflexed roses to infuse a modern allure. Delicate candles and artfully textured drink ware brought a blend of sleekness and texture, compensating for the absence of greenery. To uphold a sense of balance, the team strategically incorporated ceiling installed vines, ensuring the immersive green backdrop persisted without overpowering the modern table decor.
