“Blushing Elegance”

Ashley discovered Glitzed Events through a referral and arrived at her initial consultation with pink and white inspiration photos. While she appreciated the colorful pops, she expressed concerns that it seemed "too stark" against the white blooms, pondering whether adding color was the right choice. Her apprehensions extended to the ceremony space as well, given that the venue included a pergola overlooking the water—what would happen if it rained? Our goal for this design project was to understand Ashley's true desires. While she genuinely appreciated the pop of color, she hoped to avoid a "polka-dotted" look. We crafted two designs to give Ashley the opportunity to compare what she liked most. While the first design was just a mix of white and green, the second design laid out and expansive color pallet incorporating not only pink but also peaches, all boasting similar warm undertones. Emphasizing texture, we aimed to create a natural blend where the floral stems complemented each other harmoniously. For the ceremony, we devised a plan to adorn a structure that could be affixed to the existing pergola or stand alone in case of rain. Ultimately, Ashley sought a guiding hand to shape her vision and help devise a comprehensive game plan.
